PS VITA PCH-2000

The remodeled version of Sony's new handheld is out (at least in Japan that is).

It is apparently 15% lighter, 20% thinner, chepaer and a little wider than the previous version. They also overhauled the Vita internally by replacing the OLED screen with LCD screen that has an equivalent screen resolution. I really do hope that the new screen will be as crisp as the previous version. It also now has a micro USB Type B port and 1GB internal storage memory. They also managed to add an extra hour battery life to the new model (which is 6 hours) compared to the previous one (5 hour).

It has 6 different colors to choose from

It costs around  ¥18,980 JPY or approximately $190. No news on when it will be released in North America. Ever since the PS Vita got announced, i was really looking forward to the slimmer version of it and its finally here. Im hoping that they release it worldwide soon coz im definitely going to get one.
