Mighty No.9, Megaman's Sucessor

Keiji Inafune, the creator of Megaman announced a Kickstarter project called Mighty No. 9 which will carry on Megaman's legacy, following the cancellation of 2 Megaman games and weakest 25th anniversary ever.

The game is being developed by Megaman veterans, meaning the dream team, and fans can give some input for the game. The gameplay is very reminiscent to Megaman, of course there are unique features. You play as Beck the robot who can transform into various forms depending on the forms of his defeated enemies used. These transformations will help Beck reach the once unreachable places on the levels and defeat more bosses.

As of now, the funding for Mighty No.9 exceeded (almost $4,000,000) and its stretch goals are achieved. The game is now beefy with content and the once PC only version becomes multiplaform and will be available for current and next gen home consoles (PS3/PS4/XBOX 360/XBOX One) and handheld gaming devices (3DS/PSVita), Mac and Linux versions confirmed too. You can view the Kickstarter page here.
