Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Costumes, a New Character and a Returning Character

Lightning Returns FFXIII's latest extended trailer and images shows some of Lightning's costumes, a new character, and a returning character

These costumes act as the roles or Paradigms in FFXIII (kinda like Dress Spheres in FFX-2) and add stat bonuses and skills that can be assigned in the face buttons. You can only use 3 in battle and each costume has its own ATB bar (or Action Points) that fills up and drains for each action.

Then there's this new and mysterious character named Lumina that looks exactly like Lightning's sister, Serah. Her character design is a combination of Serah's FFXIII and FFXIII-2 design and also looks similar to Lightning's new design when it comes to color choice. Well,we shall see if she is THE Serah that we know or she's an entirely new identity.

Noel Kreiss make his return and he is introduced in the new trailer. When you look closely (or pause the video) you can see that Noel's hair is turning white or has some white hairs but his appearance didn't age... it's probably because of the effects of Chaos in FFXIII-2's ending or it's just lighting effects?

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is going to be released for the PS3 and XBOX 360 in Autumn 2013.
